Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality and efficiency standards through careful inspection and testing.
Summary: Inspect all manufactured parts against prints and package parts for Warehouse. Helps drive Shop productivity and profitability by working closely with shop team, Shop Leadman, and Operations Manager to continually increase efficiency and make improvements in the workplace. Exudes outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers and helps drive the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Quality Control Inspector:
- Provides quality inspected parts during specified time frame and prepares parts for Warehouse to assure customer requested delivery date.
- Inspects all parts against prints to assure dimensional integrity.
- Performs inspection according to Quality Control Inspection Frequency chart.
- Shrink-wraps products individually to protect against damage due to handling.
- Performs back-up duties for lapping function.
- Acceptable performance requires attention to detail, learning inspection techniques as defined by immediate supervisor, accurate handling of paperwork to complete the job order and to transmit to Finished Goods Inventory.
- Calibrates inspection, measurement and test equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned and authorized by immediate supervisor pertaining to the specific department.

Education/Experience:
High school graduate and/or equivalent work experience; 2+ years quality inspection experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical information; Ability to respond to common inquiries and/or issues raised from internal or external customers.
Math Ability:
Displays mechanical aptitude; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft office, WorkFlow System.
