We manufacture a wide variety of carbon/graphite and PTFE seals, rings, bearings, and other high precision wear parts for compressors, turbines, motors, centrifugal pumps, and industrial fans and blowers. We have the capability to mold and supply carbon/graphite raw stock and custom-formulated, high- performance PTFE and PEEK Composites. We also machine metals including exotic alloys related to sealing devices.

JOB TITLE: Quality Control Inspector/Shipping & Receiving Clerk
REPORTS TO: Shop Supervisor
STATUS: Non-Exempt (hourly)
1.) Minimum 5 years verifiable experience with inspecting manufactured parts.
2.) Minimum 5 years verifiable experience in shipping & receiving.
  • Provides quality inspected parts during specified time frame and prepares parts for Warehouse to assure customer requested delivery date.
  • Inspects all parts against prints to assure dimensional integrity.
  • Performs inspection according to Quality Control Inspection Frequency chart.
  • Shrink-wraps products individually to protect against damage due to handling.
  • Acceptable performance requires attention to detail, learning inspection techniques as defined by immediate supervisor, accurate handling of paperwork to complete the job order and to transmit to Finished Goods Inventory.
  • Calibrates inspection, measurement and test equipment.
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and well-marked warehouse system for “Finished Parts”.
  • Prepares goods for shipment in a damage-free manner, and interfaces with delivery servicepersonnel to ship and receive goods.
  • Maintain accurate and timely inventory records.
  • Keeps accurate shipping records on when shipments were made, by what mode of transportation and at what cost.
  • Other duties as assigned.
