ROC Carbon provides a complete mechanical seal repair service to refurbish worn seals. The service includes inspection, cleaning, replacing the carbon seal face, re-lapping the hard face, and replacing the o-rings.

When we receive a worn seal, we disassemble it, clean it and inspect it for wear, chipping or cracking, erosion and signs of chemical attack. We then notify you of parts that have to be replaced or re-worked; we always replace the carbon seal face unless speciflcally instructed not to do so. We lap the hard seal face and then reassemble the seal, package it, and ship it back to you.

Our lapping capabilities encompass both carbon and hard faces up to 20 inches in diameter. We can lap to a flatness of 1 helium light band, depending on part diameter.
